Matt is a Realtor and lifelong resident of Berks County, and has led a real estate sales team at RE/MAX of Reading for the last 20+ years. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Health from West Chester University and a B.S. in Secondary Education from Alvernia University, both used in a previous career teaching science. Professionally, Matt is a member of the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame and a recipient of RE/MAX International's Lifetime Achievement Award and Circle of Legends Award, having facilitated over 2000 real estate transactions, but his greatest fulfillment comes from serving the Greater Berks County community. In addition to BCSS, Matt has served on the Wilson School Board, The One Wish Foundation, Wilson Soccer Alumni Association, Wilson Education Foundation, Alvernia President's Advisory Council, Olivet Boys & Girls Club, Wilson Junior Soccer Club, and the Boy Scouts of America. He currently lives in Sinking Spring with his wife of 25 years, Amy (survivor!), and their Goldendoodle - Timber. Matt & Amy have 3 amazing children, twin sons Peter & Alex both out of college and a daughter Catherine playing field hockey and studying at Michigan State University. 

Matt was introduced to BCSS in 2021 when his wife Amy, was diagnosed with breast cancer. The gift bag she received at the infusion center was such a kind gesture to let her know she was not alone in this battle, and others were thinking about her. It is an honor for Matt to serve on this board to further the mission to help everyone in the area going through this battle.
