Marie Smith is the owner of Smith Enterprises Consulting, providing small business and non-profit bookkeeping, as well as support services for payroll and human resources. She is currently the treasurer of the board for BCSS after serving on the finance committee since July 2024.

She is a life-long resident of Reading/Berks County and attended Central Catholic High School and Albright College Institute of Banking while working for the original American Bank here in Reading.

Since service is in her blood, she is an 18+ year member of the Spring Township Rotary, where the motto is “Service Above Self”! When asked to serve on the BCSS finance committee, she thought it would be a wonderful way to give back since her mother died of breast cancer many years ago.
